Discover The Core Strength Of Fabrics

Synthetic fibers have many advantages over natural fibers, especially for commercial use. Today, let's walk into the world of polyester fiber, what are its benefits of it, and why do we use it...

Natural Fibers VS Synthetic Fibers

Fabrics can be broadly classified into natural fibers and chemical fibers.

Natural fibers can be subdivided into animal fibers, plant fibers, and mineral fibers. Like flax and cotton, it comes from plant fibers, cashmere from animal hair is animal fibers, and mineral fibers include asbestos. Chemical fibers can be divided into man-made fibers, synthetic fibers, and inorganic fibers. Synthetic fibers refer to fibers that are extracted from substances without fibers and proteins and synthesized after chemical reactions, such as acrylic fibers, nylon, and polyester. Polyester is what we call polyester fiber.

What is polyester fiber

The trade name of polyester fiber fabric in China is polyester, which is the largest variety of synthetic fibers at present and is an indispensble chemical fiber raw material for the modern textile and garment industry.

Compared with fabrics made of natural fibers, which are usually more expensive and require a lot of labor to produce, polyester fibers are more affordable and have a wider range of applications.

In addition to this, synthetic fibers have more benefits than natural fibers and are more suitable for making cloth for commercial use. This is also an important reason why we choose to use synthetic fibers to provide our customers with fabrics of better quality and higher performance.

What are the characteristics of polyester fiber?

*Durable and durable. The polyester fiber fabric is strong and wear-resistant and has a certain sense of stiffness. It is an ideal fabric for environments with high traffic flow. In contrast, fabrics such as pure cotton or linen are not durable and difficult to maintain. The polyester fiber fabric itself is not malleable, does not deform, and maintains its flatness for a long time. It also does not require reinforcement, has significant wind resistance, and tear resistance, and withstands frequent use.

*Zero burdens of cleaning. The 100% polyester fiber that is resistant to "manufacturing" also ensures that the fabric is machine washable, easy to wash and dry, and has good colorfastness. It will not fade or shrink after washing.

*Moisture-proof. Polyester is resistant to droplets, which means the fabric wicks away moisture rather than absorbs it, making it a popular fabric for outdoor homes or gear that need protection from rain and rain. In addition, the moisture resistance of polyester helps keep it stain-resistant.

Many people have a misunderstanding of polyester fiber, thinking that it is a cheap fabric with a chemical fiber feel. But in fact, polyester fibers can be woven into high-quality fabrics and then woven into clothing, curtains, and furniture finishes, which are used in a variety of scenarios. The dividing line between cheap and advanced lies in attention to detail.
